Greetings to CCA 5th Grade!


  • Progress reports go home in Monday Folders.
  • This is our final week for our STEM Fair projects: tri-board and mini-models are left! 
  • We actively engaged ourselves with the gizmos and gadgets in the Pacific Science Center.  Thank you to all the chaperones for making the trip safe and memorable.
  • The raffle for the planners is a hot topic. Keep getting those facts signed for a chance to win a Kindle Fire. 
  • Mother’s Day Breakfast is coming this Friday.
  • Spelling bee in-class competition is coming soon—May 17.

  • Vocabulary “The Wizard of Menlo Park” (lesson 14DE)
  • Health “Your 30-Foot Long Canal” (Chapter 3) Continued
  • Science/Writing Completing tri-board and mini-model
  • History Writing summaries and 25 facts (due Monday at the end of class); Write final drafts
