Newsletter: April 25th, 2016


Greetings to CCA 5th Grade...

  • Today we printed our final drafts—one down and two (tri-board and mini-model) to go!  We are learning so much through STEM fair and so much more is to come. Please see our flyer for more information.
  • This Friday is our Pacific Science Center field trip.  Snacks and a sack lunch are needed. Three more chaperones are ideally needed for a group of five students.  If you are able to chaperone, please email me by Wednesday.
  • Spelling bee lists were sent home last Monday.  Three students will be chosen from our in-class competition (May 17) for the Spelling Bee (May 24).

Newsletter: April 18th, 2016


Greetings to CCA 5th Grade!
  • We are counting down…progress 4 ends this Thursday and two weeks left before STEM Presentations.
  • Tomorrow Olympia Jr. Programs presents Let’s Go Science Show on “how things work” (physics).
  • For Farmer Day, feel free to donate a perennial to be planted by us or the little ones.  We will be picking up rocks and garbage and/or weeding.  Please bring weeding tools, a 5-gallon bucket, and/or gloves with your child’s name on them.
  • On April 29, we are off to Seattle’s Pacific Science Center. If you are interested in attending, there is a $7 fee and please email me by Friday.  Snacks and sack lunch needed.
  • Spelling Bee lists will be out soon.
