Chang’s Newsletter—June 8th

Hello Parents/Guardians,
The time at the beach was memorable!  We had a great time enjoying God’s nature; reflecting, on our own on a spot across the serene beach, upon God’s mighty and merciful character found in Job 38 and 39 to the sound of waves gently rushing onto the beach; eating scrumptious food bought and delivered by willing, ushering parents; dining in style on wonderfully adorned picnic benches under the perfect shade by another super, planning-ahead, parent; finding and/or holding small creatures from the beachside; and getting drenched by squirt guns. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this year exhilarating, safe, and simply a time of refreshing and blessing!

Field Day
If you would like to help volunteer for our final (half) day of school, please email or let the office know!  We can use the extra hands to make this event more organized and enjoyable.

Have a great summer!

This year has been an absolute treat!  Though we have had our ups and downs (not unusual to life), I have seen the students learn much; I, also, have learned much from them.  This year, we focused on being blameless, pure shining stars (leaders) in a dark world (Phil. 2:15) who are bold and courageous (Joshua 1:9) by humbly thinking of others’ interests before our own as Christ—“who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing”—did (Phil. 2:6-7a).  Keep refreshing what you have learned to prevent from getting rusty…read anything that interests you and practice math with a workbook from any bookstore!

Sincerely, Ms. Chang
