What we are learning…
Chapel/Bible Please come and watch our wonderful skits for tomorrow about the meaning of Christmas.
Reading As we read with audiobook each chapter a day from The Tales of Despereaux, we also try to find literary devices and techniques used by the author.  The students are able to recognize different types of figures of speech like similes, metaphors, idioms, and personification.
Geography/Writing Project Everyone has been doing a great job!  This week we are working on the physical map both rough (today) and final (tomorrow) drafts.  We will begin to write the essay (rough draft), which will also be due daily this week a few questions at a time.  Keep referring to your textbook and checklist (that reflects the rubric).  It is a handy resource to use to make your imaginative, yet, realistic world.

Save, O Lord, for the godly one is gone; for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man. Everyone utters lies to his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.

Sincerely,
Ms. Chang
