Chang’s Future Leaders: Newsletter Jan. 12-16

What we are learning…
Bible Memory Verse Hebrews 13:15 (NIV): Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
Reading Keep reading and coloring the days.  The historical fiction fantasy of The Tales of Despereaux reveals gems of literature and wise truths.
Science “Heat and Energy” will be looked at more deeply.
Health Complete for Friday the respiratory and muscular system handouts.
Geography/Writing Project Finally, the day has arrived and the final piece—essay—completes the project.  Once again, the essays may be neatly typed or printed, and grammar does count.  Presentations begin tomorrow, and they will be a treat for all.
History India’s interesting history is unearthed, revealing its caste system, quest for religion (Hinduism, Buddhism, and Muslim), and desirable resources by other countries.
Language Arts Grammar is essential for writing enthralling stories or sharing of convincing facts.  Write Source helps to hone works of literary art that can be read without hiccups.  Also, vocabulary offers articulation in using words that are terse and precise in packaging and portraying meaning.
